Varun has a rich experience across Loyalty, Analytics and Customer Experience management. He has a deep interest in how Analytics can be used to improve Customer Marketing and CX.
Varun currently leads Loyalty and Analytics for Pantaloons and runs the Pantaloons Greencard program. This program has won multiple awards for Best Loyalty Program, Best Use of Data Analytics etc. As Head, he has brought about a wide use of Predictive Analytics to optimize Marketing dollars.
Before joining Pantaloons, Varun worked with Aimia a leading Loyalty and Analytics company. Here he designed, implemented and worked on award winning loyalty programs. Among these programs were Freddie winner Hospitality loyalty program, designed and launch of a Pan-Bank Loyalty program and design and launch of MAPClub – a program that won Bronze is Asia’s top loyalty programs. He also setup and ran analytics for Nectar India – an online e-commerce loyalty program that was acquired by Reliance Industries. He worked across geographies – India, Indonesia, Canada, UK and Singapore for this work.
Varun is an alumnus of Duke University and Indian School of Business. He enjoys the outdoors and has completed several marathons and raised money for charity through Oxfam Trailwalkers.
