Devendra Sharnagat heads the analytics and customer value management (CVM) functions for the Consumer Banking business of Kotak Mahindra Bank. His role primarily focuses on harnessing big data in order to gain useful analytical insights and operational intelligence to drive an effective business strategy. He is also responsible for driving the next generation digital vision for the bank through analytical interventions. Devendra has been working with Kotak Mahindra Bank since 2012.
Prior to Kotak, Devendra worked with HDFC Bank as the vertical head for marketing analytics and campaign operations. During his tenure of 8 years with the bank, he was instrumental in leading many transformational strategic analytical initiatives. His experience at HDFC Bank includes analytics & CRM competency creation, business solutioning, portfolio management, customer life cycle management, data mining and insight generation, BI framework creation and system integration. Before joining HDFC Bank, Devendra was involved in analytical consultancy and project management assignments.
Devendra’s professional qualifications includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from ICT (formerly UDCT), Mumbai and Masters in Management Studies (MMS) from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai.
